TACCO The African Child Charity Organisation Logo Banner

The Project Stages

  1. Design a 'blue-sky' banner incorporating the TACCO logo and reflecting TACCO values to appear on the website.
  2. Insert the banner into a Mambo template.

Execution of the Project

Stage 1 - Design a 'blue-sky' banner incorporating the TACCO logo and reflecting TACCO values to appear on the website.

This has been our most important project so far and we were proud to be a part of it.

We expanded on the existing blue sky theme by incorporating the TACCO logo and a picture of a happy child in the banner. We designed the logo to accentuate the positive contribution giving to charity makes to the real lives of African children. We sought to motivate people to act in the spirit of generosity by foreseeing the outcome instead of focusing on the obvious poverty the TACCO hopes to remove.

Stage 2 - Insert the banner into a Mambo template.

The client had bought a template for eighty pounds but it wasn’t up to scratch. We fix more bought templates than free templates. The client purchased the template thinking that it would be a completed article ready to play host to their content. It had formatting problems and was not a complete design by our standards.

We adapted an existing template we had to resemble the client’s preferred layout. We redesigned the template removing the formatting errors and future proofing the design which now reflected and complimented the client's existing colour scheme. The product we handed back was a fully functional blank canvas for the client’s content. This all took less than two working days to complete meaning the client had a fully functional site within two days of the initial contact.
